The Women's Amateur in Dutchess County was initiated in 1996 in memory of Pat Husted, a woman who played golf all of her life, was an average golfer and died from cancer in 1994. To honor Pat a special trophy The Pat Husted Memorial Trophy is awarded to the player who finishes in the middle of the field.
This tournament is held to honor the women golfers of Dutchess County. The tournament is open to all women who have a current 18 hole USGA handicap index with 5 scores from 2013 and either reside in Dutchess County or maintain their handicap index at a Dutchess County Golf Club.
2013 Women's Dutchess County Amateur Dates
The 18th Annual Women's Dutchess County Amateur Golf Tournament will be held Saturday July 13th & Monday July15th. All flights will play Monday, July 15th at McCann Golf Course. The Championship Flight will have two rounds, the first round Saturday, July 13th at Red Hook Golf Club and the second round with all the flights on July 15th.
Players with a handicap index of 16.9 or less play in the 2 round championship flight. Championship flight pairings will be determined by the tournament committee. Handicaps will be finalized as of the July 1st handicap revision.
All other players play one round, flighted based on handicaps. Players can sign up as a group or individual.

THOSE WITH HANDICAPS GREATER THAN 36 WILL BE ADJUSTED.
Prizes for all flights will be awarded following the luncheon at The Pirate Canoe Club
